David Maurice Griffin has been a Licensed Massage & Bodywork Therapist and the Sole Practitioner of EmpowerFuel Massage & Wellness LLC since 2018. He completed his certification in Professional Clinical Massage Therapy at Southeastern College (formerly Southeastern Institute) in Columbia, SC. Upon licensure, he worked at both locations of Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa in Columbia — Harbison and Cross Hill — until 2022. During this time, he completed certifications in Advanced Deep Tissue, Oncology, and Lymphatic Drainage Massages as well as Trigger Point and Neuromuscular Therapies.

With his experience and apt to teach and train the next massage professionals, he went back to Southeastern College as a Professional Clinical Massage Therapy Instructor. Recently, he obtained the highest credential offered in the massage therapy profession — Board Certification in Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork — to provide his clients a greater standard of care.
